D. J. DADDY-O

Born 19 May 1959 in Rockville Centre, NY and grew up there.  Owned his first record at the age of 5, "Please Please Me", the Beatles, 1964 and haven't stopped collecting since then.  Started studying dance and drums at eight, by twelve was playing in cover bands, everything from R&B to progressive rock.  Never got the disco back in the 70's but when punk and new wave was born he was introduced to the dance floor.  It wasn't until he was living in Atlanta in the early 90's that he had a roommate who had two Technic 1200's and mixer.  That is when he first put the headcans and have had trouble taking them off since then.  Been a resident house deejay at the Ramrod Bar, Ft Lauderdale since 2001, have played private parties, benefits and even Stonewall Street Festival.  He lives today to share the gift of house music as it was given to me by some many of the legends of the past.  Buc, Stewart Gardner, Al Dean  to name a few,  Music is a powerful thing,  It has always been a reflection of it's humanity.  Let it be positive and healing so we can make this world a better place.  Let's come together on the dance floor called life!
